Richmond Sketchers Go Live

Richmond Sketchers

Welcome to Richmond Sketchers! We're a group of a dozen Virginia Commonwealth University fine art students studying and creating reportage art in Richmond, Virginia.  Over the next couple weeks we'll be posting drawings from our group's campus "sketch crawls" and sketches from our individual reportage projects.    Over the past couple weeks members of our group have done things as diverse as embedding in a homeless shelter, sketching battle-wounded and recovering service members at McGuire VA Hospital, and covering a drag king and queen competition. From the sacred to the profane, the Richmond Sketchers are taking an artistic street level look at Richmond, Virginia.  Stay tuned!
